What is the timetable?
The North London Waste Plan is at a very early stage. The proposed timetable for plan development is shown below. Please note the changes to the timetable, which have been caused by unforeseen delays to the preparation of the plan.
- Preparatory work on issues and options – 2007
- Consult on issues and options – Jan/Feb 2008
- Consult on preferred options – Oct/Nov 2009
- Consult on submission version - Nov/Dec 2010
- Submit to Government – March 2011
- Examination in public – June 2011
- Report from planning inspector – Sep 2011
- Adoption of plan – Dec 2011
