What is the timetable?
The North London Waste Plan is at a very early stage. The proposed timetable for plan development is shown below. Please note the changes to the timetable, which have been caused by unforeseen delays to the preparation of the plan.
- Preparatory work on issues and options – 2007
- Consult on issues and options – Jan/Feb 2008
- Consult on draft plan (preferred options) – 14 Oct - 24 Nov 2009
- Representations on submission version - Apr 2011
- Submit to Government – Jul 2011
- Examination in public – Oct 2011
- Report from planning inspector – Jan 2012
- Adoption of plan – Apr 2012
